Soia & Kyo "Sohie" jacket, on sale for $227.90 at Nordstrom. Whee! The cool black coat I've been searching for! 80 percent wool's probably even pretty warm, right? And this means I get to give my old one to the New York Cares Coat Drive. Double awesome.

The only recent purchase I can attribute to the holidays is a purple dress from Banana Republic that I wore to a big ol' fancy British American Business Council Christmas lunch.
Otherwise I don't celebrate Christmas..heee! The dress is a beautiful shade of purple and fits well, so, WIN :)
i went a little overboard for myself... a new bag, patent heels, a weekender tote, and several new books. and that's just all i can remember at the moment.
no wonder christmas is my favorite holiday!
I love that coat! I bought myself a Soia & Kyo this winter too,and it has become my absolute favorite. I sorta feel like a very fabulous version of sherlock holmes when I wear it,which makes me happy (the $160 price tag did too! <3 sales).
I went a little cardigan crazy this year...I don't want to even know what my grand total of those has come to. Plus a great handbag, some fun thinner wedged wellies, some great dresses..and the list continues. Holiday shopping was my best friend year..though I think I might have bought more for me than I should have. But eh,what's done is done!

Darling coat. The asymmetrical neckline and empire waist really make it stand out.
I bought some killer boots and a couple of nice shirts for some get togethers with friends. Other than that I've bene pretty good. We'll see if I can resist all the January sales though!
