My question is, on the scale of fashion trend indignities, is the body suit better or worse than the return of the pleat front pant and the pegged ankle baggy jean?
Good question. I'd say the body suit and the pegged ankle baggy jeans are equally horrific. For anyone who survived the 80s, why wear the same mistakes twice?!?!
I'll admit with some degree of shame that I am kind of a fan of the bodysuit. They're great for high-waisted jeans because there's no unsightly tucking and bunching involved. The downside is having to get completely nude in order to go pee.
I'm with Sara. Bodysuits, at least, have their uses. Pleated pants and pegged jeans look horrific on EVERYONE.
oh man, flashback to 4th grade. I'd like to leave bodysuits right there in '93. Although, I think they've been selling these things for years in Victoria's Secret/Chadwicks/Newport News.
i looove the american apparel ones. they're actually really great with body-con skirts : )

Oh god no. I just admitted on another blog that I used to wear shoulder pads in absolutely everything...well, here's another confession. My mom (a tailor) made me bodysuits that were thongs in the back, and the snaps wrapped around the crotch and did up in the front, halfway down between the bellybutton and the nether-regions. I mean these were more comfortable than any you'd buy and wear with huge bits of fabric wedged into your butt, but please...do not let these come back. Just say no, ladies!
