These Boots Are Made for Bloggin'

Oh, hi! I've been laying low lately, did anyone notice? I'm yawning back into the binge zone because I need to know: WHICH BOOTS TO BUY?? So many, many, many lovelies. Help me decide, won't you?

I've been dying for a pair of off-white boots since Aiken was a boy. These might be the Ones! Seychelles "Dirty Laundry" boots, $179.95. They also come in tan and black. Which brings me to my next hmmmm:

BCBGirls "Petler" boots, $178.95 with an instant $25 off = $153.95. A reader tipped me to these as a nice alternative to Loeffler Randall (aka $750) boots. These look mighty fine to me.

Steve Madden also has some tempting boots this season, and after getting so much mileage out of the pair of his I got last year, I'd gladly sign up for another pair. Such as these "Intyce" boots, $199.95. Comes in black too...which to buy?? I might have to boycott, however, based on the ridiculous spelling. Seriously, there's no call for that.

Then we have this funky number: the 80%20 "Jackie" hidden-wedge boot, $188. Don't know why, but I'm just drawn to these.

And obviously, these Frye "Sam" boots, $398, are just f'ing awesome. Someone buy for me? Perhaps with the thousand bucks I was just overhearing we should all be stuffing under our mattresses for when the world ends? Just a thought.

I would definately go with the BCBG Pettler boots, they're beautiful and yes, very Loeffler Randall-esque. Pretty decent price too!

My first pick is the Seychelles "Dirty Laundry" boots - they are gorgeous.

I like the look of the off-white ones. Urban Outfitters knocked off that style last year. I shoulda bought a pair. :(

Alright, I love the off white ones, but how do you not ruin them in NY? I find it impossible to keep my shoes in good shape in this city!

Shit, that's a really good point. Thanks for bursting my good-boot bubble, Erin S.!

I actually like the Steve Madden ones, esp. if you already know they will be comfortable!

I just purchased the Petler boots by BCBG. They are verry nice! They fit a little snug in the toe, but I have big feet, so it's probably just me. However, I would stay away from the Steve Madden if I were you! I ordered that pair LAST winter in black in a desparate attempt to find a pair of boots just like the BCBG Petler (both of which seem to be copycats of the Seychelles At Last boot from last fall). Anyway, the SM boots were too loose around the calf, and would fall down if I didn't stuff my pants in there real tight. And I am not stick skinny, I actually have muscles in my legs. SM shoes look cute but I think they are no better than Target or Payless, with that $200 price tag you are actually paying for Steve Madden's bail bond.

I just bought some Frye boots the same color as the Seychelles ones you posted--how can I incorperate them into my fall/winter wardrobe (my boyfriend claimed I was crazy for buying off white boots this time of year)

Though the Intyce boots have a ridiculous name, I love them the best. The Seychelles are fab but I might feel like the detail would make them hard to wear with other, equally funky, retro things. Maybe.

Damn, tough choices. The Seychelles are tops, but those hidden wedge boots are pretty alluring as well.

I am agreeing 100% with these choices. But the BCBG's.... I think I'm gonna have to buy those!

Bakers also has a pair similar to the ones you posted

http://www.bakersshoes.com/product.aspx?c=271&p=64949 and they are the cheapest at 130

Wow, good call, Anna. Wish the Bakers confirmed they were leather, though...otherwise I'd be all over those like Puss on boots.
