No offense, Swatch, but I kinda just fell rill hard for a different plastic watch. How YOU doin', May 28? Oh, you've got all kindsa floral textile print watches? AND also like 1 billion other styles? AND I can mix and match straps? AND each watch is named for a different time, AND AND AND you're just $38 each? Okay, great! I'll take one of each, please. Kthxbai.

WIN A Shock Baby G Watch & Urban Decay Urban Bride Kit
I'm feeling pretty generous (for once in my life) today. Maybe it's because FashionBinge turned FIVE years old this summer and it SUPPOSEDLY feels better to give than to get. Although really, I feel like if you feel better giving than getting, you're not getting the right thing. Anyway, to celebrate I'm giving away TWO great things to ONE lucky winner!

EYE Love These Swatch Rankin Watches
GET IT? EYE?
Swatch's collaboration with London photographer and "Dazed and Confused" founder Rankin netted a breathtakingly surreal, almost spooky collection of five Gent Original watches whose faces feature extreme closeups of the human iris in brilliant, bursting shades.
You can purchase Brownscape, Aquascape or Greenscape (I think I love Greenscape the most for its transparent band) for the highly reasonable price of $60. Or, if you're super hardcore, get a very limited edition, individually numbered five-watch black-band set. Eye want them all.

Storm's Perfect Gold Watch
What's wrong with this gold watch by London label Storm? Absolutely nothing, that's what. It's strong enough for a man but just right for this l'il lady. I so wanna wear this with some comfy wintery wine-colored sweaters... while I sit on my couch and do NOTHING... because it's winter. YAY!

Awesome J. Lindeberg Jacket For $99
Fellow flogger Daddy Likey's sick Members Only jacket thrift store score inspired me to find a couple strong-enough-for-a-man but totes-okay-for-the-ladies menswear-inspired looks of my own. But, like any New York savvy shopper worth her weight in coupons (either online or real: online in my case) will tell you, there's really NO such thing as a decent thrift store in Manhattan. So, this will have to suffice:
Not bad atall for gois or goils. The only thing I can't deal with, though, is this:
Um, I really don't need the convertible parachute-backpack-landing-gear option or what the fuck ever that is. Just the jacket please! Thanks!
($130, M Carter, Refinery29.com)
Finally, I just really like these watches by Ritmo Mundo. The bright colors kinda remind me of Polo or Nautica stuff, which would normally send me running, but they work here. However, I'm actually not feeling the "Ritmo Mundo" name, and only because it brings up my own uncomfortable association with when Ricky Martin performed that "Cup Of Life" song at the World Cup or whatever how ever many years ago, and the performance featured those enormous wind-powered nylon dancing things, confetti, waaaay too many horns, and that awful "ale ale ale" arm-waving dance he did in sync with his ass, and how the Spanish-to-English translation was just so painful. But maybe that's just me.

($65, Beard & Bangs, Steven Alan)Nabbed a pic of this great whiskey tee from Thrillist, who did a piece on Beard & Bangs, an indie label that, like Barking Irons, does lotsa Fin de siècle, swashbucklin-on-the-Bhowrie (before it turned into one big bank and condo complex) prints that evoke images of Stephen Crane novels and dirty men bashing the shit out of each other with ye olde broken bottles while women lift up their skirts to reveal yukky syphilis and other stuff The Decemberists like to sing about. Love that!

Because There Are No Clocks In Vegas
I'm not a gambling woman, but if I were, I'd definitely put my money on this as the coolest watch ever:

Not ONLY does this watch tell time, but you can also play slots (is that what it's referred to? I have no clue) and other games, thus turning your wrist into a one-armed bandit, eventhough you likely have two arms. Anyway, I wouldn't even care if this watch didn't tell time. It's that rad. Okay. Nite nite.
