This Leopard Print Maxi Dress Is JUST ENOUGH LEOPARD

$110, Mink Pink, Shopnastygal.com
This Mink Pink leopard print maxi dress makes me feel so good about swathing almost every inch of myself in animal print. The coordinating abilities are ENDLESS -- denim jacket! Leather jacket! Black Docs? BALLET FLATS! And don't even get me STARTED on NEON NECKLACES! Too much leopard, you say? NEVER ENOUGH, I say.

Yo, Anthropologie Has Some Seriously Cute Stuff Right Now

Usually I don't conduct too many dealings within Anthropologie. And by "dealings," I mean I don't usually wander in, try on a bunch of stuff, hem and haw and then leave. Usually that's because I find the price points to induce no small amount of pants-shitting (though I don't know why because Anthropolgie's prices are barely different than half the shit at Bloomingdale's and I don't get the howling fantods over their prices). The other reason is that sometimes Anthropologie feels a little too art teacher/ garden party/ lady in her late '30s to me. SO many cheery brights and not enough bitchy blacks. However, I wandered into the Chelsea Market Anthropologie tonight, and DUDES, there were some seriously cute pieces.

$39.95, Odille, Anthropologie
Trust me, this orange polka dot top is approximately 40% cuter in person.

$298, Marion Vidal, Anthropologie.com
It's rare that I see a horse necklace I love as much as my Pade Vavre horse necklace, which I wear so much it might as well be a tattoo. But this Marion Vidal horse necklace is a close runner-up.

$498, Marion Vidal, Anthropologie.com

A double-headed horse necklace that looks TOTALLY deco? GAME RECOGNIZE GAME.

WIN A Shock Baby G Watch & Urban Decay Urban Bride Kit

I'm feeling pretty generous (for once in my life) today. Maybe it's because FashionBinge turned FIVE years old this summer and it SUPPOSEDLY feels better to give than to get. Although really, I feel like if you feel better giving than getting, you're not getting the right thing. Anyway, to celebrate I'm giving away TWO great things to ONE lucky winner!

Jenny Packham Sorrento Wedding Dress: I'm Selling Mine!!

LADIES (and/or crossdressers). I'm selling my Jenny Packham Sorrento wedding dress. It is the most gorgeous thing on the planet, and, I'm nahganna lie -- I felt like the most gorgeous thing on the planet wearing it when I got married in February 2010. I'm happy to say that I'm very happily married. Which is why I really see no need to hold onto this dress. Why let it hang in my closet when it could be in yours, pretty lady?

Perfect Shorts By Charlotte Ronson

In case you've been fast asleep in an underground bunker (and I may almost be jealous of that if it's well-air-conditioned and contains delicious foods), you may have noticed that it's HOTTER THAN ANCIENT EGYPT. Normally I avoid shorts like a mystery wet spot on an F train seat, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and even desperate-r times call for shorts.

$67.50, Charlotte Ronson, Shopbop.com

Lust List: Vanessa G Designs, Issa London Kaftan, Kate Spade Cobble Hill Bag

ift up your head, and dry your eyes, because I'm back with another lust list. Perhaps because it's hotter than the fiery depths of Hades (and because I need to get them out of my system before the wines, greens, burgundies and ochres of fall) I'm tending toward bold, bright, flaming-hot colors. Let's start with...

($179, Issa, Catrionamackechnie.com)
This Issa kaftan is the EMBODIMENT of my desire to live a full-time late-60s/ early '70s lifestyle. As well as a peacock. A late '60s peacock.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO EARN YOUR VARSITY LETTER... IN SWAG.

Ok ok, so maybe I wasn't the most athletic person in high-school. And chances are if you're reading this blog, you weren't either... But FEAR NOT! You can still impress your parents and friends by earning your Varsity Letter in: Swag from The Queen of Accessory design herself, Melody Ehsani. These Varsity Letters are part of the M.E.N.S. line and come in your choice of two colors.

At $48 for a custom piece, you can't really go wrong. I ordered my "R" in turquoise with a metallic gold back plate (Official colors of the School of Rockmore, naturally) and it's amazing. It takes about two weeks to make/ship and clearly it's worth the wait.

Rachel Antonoff For Bass Oxfords Are ON SALE At Dear Fieldbinder, Which I LOVE, BTW

$35, Rachel Antonoff x Bass, Dear Fieldbinder
Here's some MOST excellent news if you've been pining after a pair of Rachel Comey for Bass Oxfords like I have. The slip-on Zoe oxfords in black and beige are on sale at Dear Fieldbinder for just $35.

Also, speaking of Dear Fieldbinder, if I haven't said it before, I'll say it now: this is absolutely my favorite boutique in all of Brooklyn. (No, this is not paid content -- I'm just a HUGE fan of this shop.) Not that I've been to EVERY clothing store in Brooklyn, mind you. But of the ones I've been to, it's my favorite. It's WAY more affordable than Bird, I actually find the selection to be far more fun and interesting (really, Bird? $575 for a blue canvas smock? Not trying to hate, but Bird's selection seems to have gotten more and more staid over the years). And Dear Fieldbinder lacks the yoga-lady love-the-earth vibe that plagues a lot of Brooklyn boutiques. (Note: I LOVE both yoga and the earth, but you don't see me rolling around in saffron-colored linen pants, a flowy tunic with a dharma embroidered on it, and crusty comfort sandals. Pull it together, some of Brooklyn! And by "some of Brooklyn," I of course specifically mean some of Park Slope and Boerum Hill.) Every time I stop by, I discover a new indie designer like Collina Strada or Something Else By Natalie Wood or Wood Wood, and I discover that something I wanted before has been generously marked down. Like those Rachel Antoff Bass oxfords! Which I got in black. Now you go!

Here's FashionBinge In Stephanie Caruso's Fashion Blogging Documentary, "Fashion: We Want In"

A few months back I shot some segments for filmmaker Stephanie Caruso's documentary about fashion blogging. I was honored to be featured (What? Someone wants to come to my house on a Saturday morning and listen to me talk about, like, Target? And then you're going to tape it too? Hokay!) alongside Desmitten and to be a representative voice of fashion bloggers who are doing it for the love of style, connecting with an online audience, and the written word. But, you don't have to take my word for it.

Jeffrey Campbell's Lita Cosmic Heels Are Just Like... I Can't.

159.95, Jeffrey Campbell, Solestruck.com
You know how Orville Redenbacher inspired everyone to do one thing and do it well, even if it's popcorn or blogging? Jeffrey Campbell's honed in that one thing, and that's their INSANELY high-heeled Lita shoe. (I think they're approximately eight feet off the ground, which is great, because I'm barely five feet off the ground myself.) They have the design down to a science, and now they're tricking out the styles, patterns and colors to a truly truly truly outrageous extent. Seriously, there are about 40 different Lita styles alone. And the one I'm truly pining for are the Cosmics, which are a starry, celestial pattern. And I LOVE a celestial print -- refer, won't you, to my love affair with Risto Bimbiloski and Helmut Lang's trippy Heathen prints.

This is where stargazing meets shoegazing, people.

Sam Edelman's Spiked Renzo Booties Look Just The Right Amount Of Dangerous

$250, Sam Edelman, Bloomingdales.com
Sam Edelman's spiked Renzo booties -- the more put-together cousin of their spiked Lorissa heel, which I also love, are the realness. These spike accents are about as dangerous as this risk-adverse girl will get. (I don't even rid a bike, if that gives you any insight into my level of p---y-ness. Also, spikes are the new studs. ALSO, @Radbard, if you're reading this and wondering what to get me for my birthday, I'm a size 8. Smiley face!

Meet Rapper Kellee Maize & Win An Elizabeth & James Crab Ring!

Credit: Laura Petrilla
Ohai! Ever wanna join in a ménage à trois? We're you're about to find yourself in some three-way love because I've got a lot for you to process about an rapper named Kellee Maize, fashion site StyleSegment.com, and a crab ring by Elizabeth and James. MOM I can explain!

Kellee Maize is an indy rapper from Pittsburgh. Like Wiz Khalifa! Except she's a she. And she raps about things like the patriarchy and quantum physics, she does mad yoga, and she founded Nakturnal, a female-owned and operated branding and promotional agency that unites the art world and the corporate world to inspire women, promote independent artists and raise awareness for worthy causes. She also shares serious knowledge like "I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday" and "There is more to life than increasing its speed."

She's turned down a handful of record label deals and racked up shiztons of YouTube views on her own with her empowering lyrics, witty wordplay and willingness to have fun with fashion -- case in point, her huh-dorable video "Big Plans," where she plays five different characters (six, if you count herself) and changes clothes about twice that...

Which brings me StyleSegment.com, a site that connects fashion industry insiders to aspiring designers nationwide. They manage the wardrobe at many of Kellee Maize’s video shoots. Which brings me to...

This Elizabeth and James crab ring:

EEEE! He's got little RUBY eyes!

Kellee Maize and StyleSegment.com asked me if I'd like to collaborate on a giveaway. And since this summer is the fifth anniversary of FashionBinge, I said "Lemme think about that..KAY!"
